Good timing for our VW loving crowd from Milford! As Bob and Mary know very well, VWs have a worldwide following. In Poland, it’s no different. On the first weekend when we’re there, Polish VW enthusiasts are holding a weekend rally just a few minutes outside of Krakow. Actually, on Saturday the participants are planning a parade right in Krakow’s downtown, as well as a display on the (I assume) front outdoor plaza of the Galeria Krakowska shopping mall, which is just a two minute walk from one of the corners of the Planty.

“[It] is the biggest such event in Poland, with visitors from as far afield as the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania…On Saturday the Beetles will appear at Galeria Krakowska, prior to which they’ll drive in a triumphal procession through the city streets. There’ll also be Beetle races and a vote on the prettiest Love Bug.”
