Definitely want to see this if we can.
The Lady with an Ermine
The Lady with an Ermine is one of only a very few portraits painted by Leonardo da Vinci. In fact, there are many people (maybe even a majority) who consider this painting to be da Vinci’s masterpiece, head and shoulders above the Mona Lisa. Lucky for us, the Lady resides permanently in Kraków. It’s part of the Counts Czartoryski collection. The museum where the painting usually is displayed is currently undergoing renovations; however, it is now possible to view the “Dama,” as she is known in Poland, at a temporary home in Wawel Castle. On a side note, my old roommate, Olga, is a curator at one of the National Museums of Art. Believe it or not, until recently, she was the head of the foundation charged with taking care of the painting.

We should be able to see it, now that they're supposedly moved it to the temporary space at Wawel. BTW, finally got my passport last week. I wasn't really worried, but I'm just glad that it made it. Also, I called the airlines to see if there is any problem with me having a different passport since I ordered the ticket. The number, by the way, IS different on the new one. They said that there's no problem, seeing as they didn't require it when I bought the ticket in the first place. I guess I didn't have to give it to them then. I just assumed that I gave it. Anyway, it looks like we're in good shape there.
